In this episode, we talk with Sebastien Gendron who is the Co-Founder and CEO of Transpod, a company dedicated to bringing the hyperloop (super-high-speed ground transportation known as the 5th mode of transportation) to reality and are aggressively working to create the world's leading hyperloop design. Sebastien refers to his co-founder Dr. Ryan Janzen who is the inventor of the Transpod system. Sebastien offers some incredible insight detailing how it is much easier to partner and work with people who are already convinced instead of trying to convince those that are not buying in. He has turned the COVID pandemic into an opportunity for Transpod by adding new product lines and signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the province of Alberta to develop a 1000km/h hyperloop transportation system. Transpod aims to cement Canada as the innovation capital in high-speed vacuum transportation.
